What will happen during the first visit?
During your initial evaluation, the Speech-Language Pathologist will review your medical, developmental, and/or educational history to better understand your communication concerns. Once the concerns are discussed, the assessment will take place. The therapist will use a variety of tools and activities to evaluate the areas of concern. After the assessment, the therapist will discuss their findings and provide their recommendations.
Will I have a say in what we work on in therapy?
Absolutely! We believe the best therapy happens through collaboration. That's why we provide client-centered care, working closely with clients and their families to develop treatment goals that are meaningful, functional, and tailored to each individual's unique needs. Your therapist will partner with you throughout the process, ensuring therapy addresses the skills that matter most to you and your daily life.
Will my insurance cover the cost of services?
We’re in-network with most major insurance providers, but coverage depends on your individual insurance plan. We encourage you to contact your insurance company to verify your speech therapy benefits before your first appointment. To help us verify your coverage, please provide your insurance information as early as possible during the scheduling process.
